Prayers are being offered for the victims (both soldiers and civilians) worldwide due to Radical Islamic Terrorists, 476428_blue_flame.jpg
as well as the victims of other racist, and extremist groups that use violence to assert control over others and take away their inalienable human rights. May we learn to co-exist peacefully so that we may experience the blessing of LIFE God has given to all of us.

  • ILLINOIS MEN ACCUSED OF STORING HAZARDOUS MATERIAL – Police Raid On Warehouse in Gary Led To Arrests” – The Post-Tribune – CBS2Chicago.com Ch. 2 (CBS) – CBS Broadcasting Company, Inc. – Chicago, Illinois, US – 27 August 2006
    Summary:
Douglas McGlothlin, 47 of Alsip, IL, and Fredrick Frank Masters III, 23, of Oak Lawn, IL, were arrested after it was discovered they were storing 55-gallon barrels of magnesium nitrate in a warehouse in Gary, Indiana. The men are not under regulation for handling chemicals of this nature, and the warehouse itself is not equipped to store the material safely. Both men have been charged with one count each of criminal recklessness and illegal[ly] dumping a hazardous material according to Gary Police Cpl. Joseph Pops. McGlothlin was also charged with driving without a commercial license. Officials are reportedly still looking into additional state and federal charges. Magnesium Nitrate is used in the Steel Industry, and can react violently when exposed to water. The Gary Director of Environmental Affairs Dorreen Carey is reported as saying there are homes within a half-mile of the warehouse. “I didn’t want to see all those people’s lives at risk,” said Jackie Oliver, daughter of the owner of the warehouse. Oliver discovered and reported the barrels when she was checking on a grass fire near the building earlier in the year. At that time the site was investigated and the material was supposedly being sold. McGlothlin and Masters have an August 30th court date.

More than half a million British garbage bins have been fitte with electronic “bugs” intended to gather information about their owners’ waste disposal habits.

While the government claims the new system will help make waste removal more efficient, many believe the “bugs” represent a danger with their ability to gather personal information about the bins’ owners, the Daily Mail said. [. . .]
